MARNIE
Helen Marnie also creates music by herself. She debuted her first solo album, "Crystal World" on June 11, 2013. The lead single "The Hunter" is perhaps the most Ladytron-reminiscent song on this record. The record contains a glacial electronic sound similar to Ladytron, but for the most part, is more subdued. Marnie said she was inspired by the sea.

Marnie is producing a new record in 2015 and has already released the first song "Wolves" September 9th, 2014. Her upcoming record is untitled as of right now. She believes it will be a departure from Crystal World. It will be weirder and less subdued with synths more in the foreground.
She mentioned that it will be released within the next few months (probably) and that most of the songs are already finished. She's just unsure about how she's going to publish it.
It is highly likely that the album will be released sometime before September (which is when the Ladytron members will reunite).
